His career spans more than 35 years, counselling clients in Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America on public affairs, corporate and marketing communications issues. Previously Chairman of Burson-Marsteller Australia and Managing Director of its Corporate/Financial Practice. He served as President and CEO of Dentsu Burson-Marsteller in Tokyo. His clients have included J.P. Morgan, Mitsubishi, and Dow Corning. His experience includes the partial privatisation of Telstra, an internal quality assurance program for Ericsson Australia, and e-commerce marketing programs for clients in Japan and Korea. Paul began his career as a journalist with the Telegraph in Brisbane before joining Hill and Knowlton public relations, first in Brisbane and then moving to the firm’s Tokyo office where he helped establish the first international public relations consultancy in Japan.
