Carolyn CoonCarolyn has more than 10 years’ experience in consumer marketing communications, spanning Australia and the UK. She has driven integrated campaigns that have reaped outstanding, measurable results for clients across the FMCG, tourism, entertainment and food industries. Carolyn provides strategic direction to clients across all aspects of PR, with a strong focus on media relations, cross-promotional, experiential and ambient communications. Her ability to develop ideas outside the norm often forms the core of highly creative and successful PR campaigns. Most recently she worked as an Account Director at Mango Communications, where she led an award-winning experiential campaign for The Wrigley Company’s Eclipse chewing gum brand. Carolyn has also provided strategic counsel on key corporate communications issues to Wrigley across the Australia and New Zealand markets. Other major clients with whom Carolyn has worked include Sydney Wildlife World, where she drove blanket media coverage of this new wildlife attraction at launch phase, and Horticulture Australia, where she managed extensive media coverage for the Australian mango and grape industries across print, broadcast and online mediums. Carolyn has also worked on customer loyalty programs targeting the Australian Chinese Community for Optus Communications, and conducted media relations campaigns for Energizer, Macleans (GSK), Tilda and The Panasonic Imax Theatre. Carolyn started her career at Holt Public Relations, where she undertook media relations campaigns for Ajax Watercare, Bankstown Sports Club and major pet pharmaceuticals supplier, Cyanamid Webster. Carolyn holds a BA Communications (Print Journalism Major) from Charles Sturt University-Mitchell.
